Central Huron's community improvement coordinator says the pianos on the main street and a few other locations around the town of Clinton should be gone by the weekend.
Angela Smith says they were very popular over the summer and lots of people took the time to play them or enjoyed hearing other people play them, so they definitely will be back again next year.
“It has been fantastic. We've had great response. Lots of comments, lots of people heard using them. It's been phenomenal," she says.
Smith admits it wasn't her idea originally.
She says she heard about it from a friend in the United States and eventually was able to contact the person who looks after a similar program in Toronto, and then just transported the idea to Clinton. She says they'll be back next spring as soon as the weather makes it practical.
