Prime Minister Justin Trudeau To Visit 100th IPM On Friday

Canada's Prime Minister will be in Walton Friday morning, with his wife Sophie and their three children to attend the 100th International Plowing Match & Rural Expo.

Trudeau is scheduled to arrive at 10:25am.

CKNX News has learned that a small area near the IPM main entrance was roped off Thursday evening after most of the public had left the grounds, and it's expected this is where Trudeau will be plowing.

Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne, PC Leader Patrick Brown & NDP Leader Andrea Horwath all made earlier appearances at this year's IPM when the event opened on Tuesday.

Trudeau's appearance at the IPM is expected to be brief, as he has a full schedule Friday afternoon in Toronto.   He's scheduled to meet with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko at 3pm,  followed by the Ukrainian Canadian Congress Invictus Gala to deliver remarks.
