Woman Seriously Injured After Falling Off Cliff At Eugenia Falls

A Scarborough woman was airlifted to hospital after falling 30 ft from a cliff at the Eugenia Falls Conservation Area in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Thursday,  shortly before 11:54am, the 25-year-old woman had been hiking in a non-trail area located off of Grey Rd. 13, when she lost her footing and fell off of the cliff.

The Scarborough woman was airlifted to a Toronto hospital with serious, life-altering injuries.

The Grey Sauble Conservation Authority has been notified of the incident.

This is the second time someone has fallen off of the cliff in the conservation area in just over a month. On July 23, 19-year-old Tanner Jacobs of Orillia fell to his death after losing his footing in a non-trail area.
