Goderich Lawyer Lead Ontario Bar Association

Goderich lawyer Quinn Ross has taken office as the 83rd president of the Ontario Bar Association.

Ross is the Managing Partner of The Ross Firm, with offices in Kincardine, Stratford, and Goderich. He has been an active senior member of the OBA since 2012 and served as 2ns Vice President in 2015.

Ross says he feels some changes need to be made and the process will begin with a transformative fall council meeting.

"The OBA has become like a second family to me since joining almost a decade ago, and now, as president, with a holistic view of the association, I know the changes that need to be made and how to make them happen, starting with a transformative fall council meeting,” says Ross.

He says his family emphasized inclusion in the home and the community, and with greater diversity at the OBA, he will ensure that all voices are heard when decisions are made.

“I grew up in a family that emphasized inclusion, within the walls of our house and as members of the community,” says Ross. “With greater diversity than ever at the OBA, it’s an obvious position for me to ensure that when making decisions as an association, all voices are heard, all talent is leveraged and both are representative of the bar and the public we serve."
