Lake Huron Shoreline Survey

The Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation is looking for input from people who use, or live near, the Lake Huron shoreline.

Coastal Stewardship Co-ordinator Hannah Cann explains they've posted a survey on their web site.

It asks people what they like about the current conditions of the lake and the shoreline, what their current concerns are, and what their expectations are for the future.

Cann says the focus for this year will be on sand dunes and sandy beaches, cobble beaches and bluffs and gullies.

Information from the survey will help shape the Centre's Coastal Action Plan for the Southeastern Shoreline of Lake Huron.

More information about the Action Plan and the survey can be found at lakehuron.ca.

The deadline for responding to the survey is August 31st.
