Vette Weekend in Bayfield a Success

If you thought you saw an unusual number of Corvettes on the roads around Bayfield this weekend, there was a reason for it. This is the weekend of the 11th annual Bayfield Vette Show. Organizer and sponsor Brian Coombs says Clan Gregor Square is the perfect spot for the show and this year they had 75 Corvettes in town for the cruise on Friday night. Altogether they had a record 318 Corvettes for the show on Saturday.

Coombs says the Corvette community has always responded well to the show and they come from all over Ontario as well as Michigan. Coombs explains one of the great things about Corvettes is they've been making them ever since 1953. Baby boomers have grown up with them and are buying the new models today. He says today's Corvettes are great for long trips and they handle extremely well.
