A West Grey man and an Owen Sound woman have been arrested and a quantity of drugs have been taken off the streets in Owen Sound.
The Owen Sound Police Service says on Friday, a 36-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were arrested and police seized over $20,000 worth of methamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl, LSD and cash.
The 36-year-old man from West Grey has been charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of heroin for the purpose of trafficking, possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possession of LSD for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.
The 33-year-old Owen Sound woman, who was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant from Barrie, is now charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of heroin.
Both are being held in custody pending bail hearings on Saturday.
The investigation is ongoing and police say no further information will be released at this time.
