The village of Bayfield could be getting a Tim Hortons.
Bluewater Mayor Tyler Hessel says a developer has applied to put a Tim Hortons, an Esso gas station and a variety store on the vacant lot on Hwy. 21 between the new LCBO and the car wash at the south end of town.
Hessel says the developer still has to finalize the storm water management plan as well as some other details with the MTO before it comes back to council for approval.
Hessel also points out he can't say for sure the franchises would definitely be Tim Hortons and Esso, because he believes some of those details still have to be worked out but he says those were the names on the site plan.
The location is zoned commercial which means the developer's plan conforms to the zoning.
