Three Charged After Break-In At Allenford Business

Two men and a woman from South Bruce Peninsula have been charged after a number of items were stolen from an Allenford business.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Thursday around 8:43am, police received a report of a break-in at a business property on Hwy. 21.  A Dewalt jobsite radio, a Dewalt chop saw, two mountain bikes, a generator, a mini fridge and many other items were stolen during the break-in.

Police were later able to locate three suspects who were arrested. They were also allegedly in possession of the stolen property as well as break and enter tools.

Joseph Plantt, 19, Jennifer Deacon, 37, and Joshua Kenny, 27, of South Bruce Peninsula have been charged with break and enter, possession of break-in instruments, possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, illegal possession of identity documents.

Plantt is also charged with failing to comply with a probation order.

All three are being held for bail and will appear before the Owen Sound Court of Justice on Friday.
