Huron County OPP have identified a man who died in hospital after an incident at a Goderich salt mine.
Police aren't releasing many details, but say a contractor at Compass Minerals was given medical assistance by on-site personnel, on Saturday at around 6:16am. The contractor was brought to the surface and then transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
Darcy Clancy, 36, of Chepstow has been identified as the contractor. A post-mortem examination was scheduled for Monday.
The OPP along with the Ministry of Labour continue to investigate the incident.
