Hydro One crews have restored power to around 846 customers in Perth and Wellington counties.
The power went off about 3:30pm Friday afternoon for customers in Wallace, Mapleton, Arthur, Minto and Moorefield.
The hydro company says equipment failure was to blame for the outage.
Hydro One estimates that crews should have electricity restored by about 10 pm.
