Bruce Power and its partners raised $126,000 for Wounded Warriors Canada at a charity dinner this week.
Wounded Warriors Canada honours and supports ill and injured Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans, first responders and their families.
It helps transition civilian soldiers back to civilian life, helping them cope with the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder.
“It’s humbling, the courage and strength the members of our Armed Forces show every day,” says Harry Hall, vice president, Supply Chain, who is himself a veteran. “We hope this donation will make it easier for our wounded soldiers to transition back to civilian life.”
Bruce Power also marked Remembrance Day on Friday.
There was an on-site ceremony, and representatives also laid wreaths at numerous local cenotaphs.
