The Town of South Bruce Peninsula has lifted their ban on open burning.
Residents and visitors are reminded to be extremely cautious when burning or having a fire as surrounding vegetation and foliage are still very dry and can ignite.
A total burn ban was issued on August 13th (2016) due to the extremely hot and dry conditions in the region during the months of June, July and into August.
A reminder that fireworks are not permitted unless on Victoria Day, Canada Day or Independence Day OR unless a permit is issued to do so.
More information regarding burning and (limited) use of fireworks can be found within the appropriate By-Laws at www.southbrucepeninsula.com
