OPP Seize $10,400 In Drugs And Controlled Substances In Grey Highlands

Three people are charged after several police agencies executed a search warrant in Grey Highlands on Thursday.

The OPP say officers searched a property on Argyle St., and seized $14,000 worth of controlled substances including methamphetamine, heroin, oxycodone, codeine, psilocybin, tapentadol, nabalone, and cannabis resin.

Police also seized related property such as trafficking paraphernalia, cash, prohibited weapons, ammunition, and stolen property.

Christopher Sanderson, 38, Katelyn Rill, 20, and Denise Simon, 58, of Grey Highlands, faces numerous charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of controlled substances, possession of a prohibited weapon, and possession of property obtained by crime.

All three were held in custody pending the results of a bail hearing.

The search involved the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), West Region Canine, Grey County Property Crimes Unit, and Grey County OPP.
