Huron County OPP is warning homeowners to be security conscious after jewellry was stolen in four day time break ins over the past month and a half.
Police say the latest incident saw a home in Saltford Heights hit yesterday afternoon before 6pm. Thieves got in through an insecure patio door and targeting a jewellery box, taking earrings, watches, rings and bracelets.
Police are asking homeowners to ensure they lock up windows and doors when they leave, and lock the garage at all times.
The suggest quality locks and dead bolts, along with security bar's for patio doors.
You should also keep valuables tucked away in a safe spot.
Residents are also encouraged to watch over their neighbour's property.
