The Raise A Little Health Charity Hockey Game raised $50,000 for local health care as fans were entertained by local pro hockey players in Goderich.
The second annual event was held at the Maitland Rec Centre in Goderich and it was a packed house.
A long list of current and former pro and amateur players laced up the skates to entertain the crowd including Ryan and Cal O'Reilly, Boyd Devereaux, Ray and Kenny Heuther, Bobby Raymond, Nick Spaling, Jeremy Welsh, Joey Hishon, Anthony and Alex Peters, Jamie Huber, Liam Maaskant, Garrett, McFadden, Garrett Meurs and Greg Dodds.
One of the organizers, Ben Lobb, says a great group of volunteers and corporate sponsors came together to set the table for the event.
The money raised this year is $10,000 more than last year's total.
The funds will be split between three organizations, the Huron-Goderich YMCA Strong Kids Campaing, Alexanda Marine and General Hospital, and the Gateway Rural Health Institute in Seaforth.
The final score was 9-8 for Team Devereaux over Team O'Reilly.
