Ontario PC Leader Tours Stratford

The new leader of Ontario’s Progressive Conservative Party was one of the visitors to the Ontario Pork Congress in Stratford Thursday.

Patrick Brown was given a tour of the Pork Congress exhibits at the Stratford Rotary Complex by 2015 OPC President Christine Schoonderwoerd. Local MPP Randy Pettapiece accompanied Brown.

Just weeks after being elected as the PC leader, Brown says he's looking forward to working toward a strong alternative to the Liberals at Queens Park.

He also states that energy costs and having a thriving job market are a couple of main concerns he wishes to tackle soon.

"The members of the agriculture community need a stronger voice here in Ontario, and not be steered in the wrong direction by a misguided government with misguided policies," says Brown.
