The Listowel/Wingham Hospitals Alliance held its annual general meeting Wednesday night. The event was hosted at the Trillium Insurance building on Mitchell Road in Listowel.
Hospital staff from both sites displayed numerous information stations for the public, including material on diabetes education, CT scans, and breast check awareness programs.
Alliance CEO Karl Ellis presented details on the new Health Campus project in Wingham, which is being constructed in the old Wingham public school. It will feature a family health centre and physician offices, as well as space to rent out to outside healthcare providers.
The meeting concluded with votes to appoint new board members and directors for both hospitals, and general financial info on both hospitals’ fiscal years
