The MPP for Huron-Bruce says the government is making some big announcements with little detail.
Lisa Thompson says the recent announcements dealing with "cap and trade emissions," Hydro One and beer sales leave her with a lack of confidence.
"With the sale of 60 per cent of Hydro One (there's) very little details," says Thompson. "When you take a look back at the news coverage that was generated, when you hear a premier saying, 'I hope it doesn't increase rates,' or 'I don't think it will increase rates,' that doesn't leave me with much confidence."
Thompson says there is a lack of cost benefit analysis by the government with the plans that have been introduced.
The MPP adds that this week's announcements aren't going to reduce spending.
In fact, Thompson says the plans could hurt financially.
