Huron Perth Ag And Water Festival Today

By the end of the day, a total of 560 students from 13 schools in Huron and Perth counties will have attended this week's Huron-Perth Agriculture and Water Festival.

Co-ordinator Denise Iszczuk says the Festival in Seaforth raises awareness of agriculture as well as the need to protect and preserve the quality of our water.

The festival has two new partners this year - the Huron-Perth Trappers Association and the Huron County Museum.

Iszczuk says they have a total of 13 exhibits in the water section at the community centre and arena. One of the popular demonstrations is about fluids that look like water but may not be water.

The Ag. Section in the Seaforth Agri-Plex has seven sections.
