The Municipality of South Bruce is hosting an open house on nuclear waste management in Teeswater on Wednesday and Thursday.
The municipality is one of nine communities in Ontario, along with Huron-Kinloss and Central Huron, in the running for a used nuclear fuel depository.
A DGR would store all of Canada’s used nuclear fuel about 500-metres underground.
The open house will go at the Culross Community Centre from 1pm to 8pm and again from 9am to 3pm.
