The Mayor of Bluewater says the new council is making a concentrated effort to be more transparent and more accountable to ratepayers than might have been the case in the past.
Tyler Hessel explains there has to be more communications between council and ratepayers so they know what council is working on, how far along each project is, and if it's been stalled, why it's been stalled.
Hessel points out that one of the new features of the agenda is a program report or list will be posted of all of the projects they're working on and where they stand.
Hessel admits they want people to know what's working well but Bluewater ratepayers also have a right to know what isn't working and is moving too slowly, and why that's the case.
