The County of Bruce received two awards last night at the Economic Development Council of Ontario Conference in Hamilton.
The county won for promotional awards for both the Spruce the Bruce Program and the Explore the Bruce Adventure Passport.
Spruce the Bruce Program won the promotional award under the branding category for Southampton and Port Elgin Community Design Toolkit.
The Explore the Bruce Adventure Passport won the promotional award under the advertising category.
The promotion award category recognizes marketing initiatives created to promote business development in Ontario.
"The Spruce the Bruce and Explore the Bruce programs have had a tremendous impact on our local communities," says County of Bruce CAO Kelley Coulter. "It is thrilling that the Ontario Economic Development Council has recognized our hard work and dedication."
