Three local projects have been selected as part of the 2014 Aviva Community Fund finalists.
Camp Klahanie in Goderich has been selected as a Grand Prize winner and will receive up to $50,000 dollars. The Lion’s Club in Goderich is looking to construct four bunkhouses at the camp.
Holy Family School in Hanover and the Stratford Perth Humane Society were finalists and will each receive $5,000.Holy Family will use the funding to fix their playground’s drainage system.
The SPHS was looking for help financing their new $2.4-million centre.
Over $5-million worth of donations were given to 40 winners from across the country.
