Perth County's winter maintenance budget is facing a 1.41 million dollar year end deficit.
November brought more than average snowfall for the second year in a row.
Perth County spent $359,000 in November, which equals about 13 per cent of the entire 2014 winter maintenance budget.
November 2013 used up almost $274,000 of the winter budget, which was 11 per cent of the yearly cost.
Historically November accounts for 5 per cent of the winter maintenance budget.
County council has directed the Levy Stabilization Reserve of $720,000 be used to offset the over expenditures.
That means both the Winter Stabilization Reserve, and the Levy Stabilization Reserve have been reduced to zero.
