The future of the Weiler Dam in Mildmay won't be decided until early next year.
The community group "Friends of the Weiler Dam" asked South Bruce council for more time to come up with a plan to save the structure and surrounding park.
They have a plan to apply for federal grant money in the coming year to help repair the structure
