South Bruce OPP Looking For Man

Police are looking for a Bruce Township man wanted in connection with an incident in Wingham last night.

The South Bruce detachment of the OPP say the arrest warrants are in relation to driving offences, firearms offences and property crimes.

Police are looking for 27-year-old Kent Wall of Bruce Township. He is believed to have ties to Carrick Township and northern Huron County.

He is described as male, white, 5’11”, 155 lbs, thin build, with short brown hair and blue eyes.

The OPP reminds all members of the public to be aware of their personal safety at all times.

Wall is the second suspect wanted in last night's disturbance in northeast Wingham yesterday.

Wingham Police say they were contacted by South Bruce OPP Monday afternoon with information that two suspects who were involved in incidents in the South Bruce area may be in Wingham.

Officers found the suspects at an address on Highland Drive. One was arrested, but a second male suspect got away.

Police closed off Highland Drive and several nearby streets and started a door-to-door search. Officers armed with rifles instructed residents to stay inside and lock their doors.

A tactical squad from London assisted with the search, but it was suspended around midnight and the street was opened to normal traffic.
