Five Charged In Drug Raid

The Ontario Provincial Police have charged five people following a drug bust in South Bruce Peninsula.

Police say on Friday, the OPP Drug Enforcement Unit, Bruce Peninsula OPP, and the West Region Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at a property on Berford St.

According to police, officers seized cannabis marijuana and oxycodone pills with a total value of $6,213. Trafficking paraphernalia was also seized at the scene.

David White, 35, Wyatt Sturgeon, 18, and Cynthia Eby, 29, all from South Bruce Peninsula, as well as two youths, have been charged with possession of marijuana for the purposes of trafficking, and possession of oxycodone for the purposes of trafficking. One of the youths is also charged with two counts of failing to comply with probation conditions.
