The 26th annual Goderich Celtic Roots Festival wrapped up Sunday night.
This was the tenth year that sisters Cassie and Maggie MacDonald of Nova Scotia have been performing in Goderich.
According to Cassie, "It's just such a beautiful festival and such a sense of community, everybody is working so hard together to create this experience and so family-friendly and the calibre of musicians at this festival is just unbelievable. It's second to none as far as all of the festivals we've been lucky to perform at."
She adds part of the charm of the Celtic Roots Festival is that most performers are billeted with local families.
She and her sister have been staying with the same family for several years and she feels like they've grown up with the kids and considers them their Goderich family.
