An arrest has been made in connection with a "distraction theft" in Wingham.
Shortly before noon Monday, two men entered a business in Wingham and were able to distract the employee with a request for assistance. As this was being done, one of the men entered a back room and stole a large amount of cash.
The incident was captured on camera.
Wingham police executed a search warrant in London Tuesday with assistance from the London Police Service.
As a result of the search, evidence was obtained and one man was arrested.
Richard Norley, 72, of London is charged with theft under $5,000.
The search for a second suspect continues.
