A Stratford woman and the Stratford Police Service are very thankful for the assistance of Walmart staff.

Police were notified by the Stratford Walmart store that a 70-year-old woman had purchased $2,100 worth of iTunes cards.

Officers were given a description of the woman and her vehicle. A short time later she was located at the Zehrs parking lot where she was about to purchase more iTunes cards.

The woman told police say had received information from Microsoft that she needed to pay for remote service for her computer or it would be infected with a virus.
