Wellington North is going ahead with a program to raise awareness about telephone scams and door-to-door sales fraud.
It will include warnings on fridge magnets, radio ads, flyers and tax bill inserts.
Wellington North has already banned door-to-door sales, but residents continue to be stung.
The program will cost about $2,000 annually.
