UPDATE (4:34pm): Blackburn News correspondant Bob Montgomery at the salt mine entrance, and says a union representative tells him the injuction brought forward by Compass Minerals was to move all vehicles and wooden pallets.
However, the union does not consider tractors as regular vehicles, and so have blocked the entrance with the heavier vehicles.
The union feels they have complied with the conjunction as stated.
UPDATE (4:15pm): Workers have removed the wooden pallet barricade that was blocking the entrance to the salt mine, however the same entrance is now blocked with tractors and other heavy machinery.
It's estimated there are over 1,000 people currently near the entrance.
No police are currently on scene.
ORIGINAL: According to a well-placed source, striking workers have been told to remove a large barricade of wooden pallets that is blocking the entrance to a salt mine in Goderich.
The source tells Blackburn News that Compass Minerals sought a court order on Friday to remove the pallets by 4:30pm today.
A crowd of supporters at the salt mine entrance has grown substantially.
