A traffic stop in Owen Sound Thursday afternoon led to a significant drug seizure.
Detectives and uniformed officers stopped a vehicle in the 1000-block of 3rd Ave. E A man and woman in the vehicle were taken into custody.
Police seized over 330 grams of crystal meth, valued at over $30,000. Police also seized cash and a small quantity of other drugs.
Michael William Wallace, 52, of no fixed address was charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking; possession of proceeds of crime; possession of oxycodone; and possession of ecstasy. He is to appear in court in Owen Sound today for a bail hearing.
The female was released without charges.
