Huron County's current Warden confirms he will run in the 2018 municipal election.
Jim Ginn is seeking his third term as mayor of Central Huron.
Ginn won the 2010 election by 547 votes over Bert Dykstra, before being acclaimed to the position in 2014.
Ginn says he is more optimistic now about economic development in Central Huron than he ever has been before.
He noted the number of wineries and breweries that have opened up, including Cowbell Brewery in Blyth, is something he feels has been a major positive step for the area over his last four years as mayor.
