Wellington North is going after dog owners to pay their tag fees.
There are about 600 delinquent owners who will get one last warning to pay by June 15 or the enumerator will be going door-to-door to collect and possibly impose a fine.
If the owners all paid their $15 renewal fee -- or $25 first-time fee -- it would generate about $9,000.
To date, tag sales have generated over $25,000 towards the $27,500 annual cost of the dog program which including boarding, pick-ups and licensing.
