Wynne Visits Owen Sound For Candidate Nomination

Premier Kathleen Wynne says Ontarians are facing a stark choice in the coming provincial election, one of the starkest ever.

Wynne was in Owen Sound at the nomination meeting for the Liberal candidate in Bruce Grey Owen Sound. Wynne says Doug Ford and the Conservatives are talking cuts and the Liberals provide hope.

"We are offering something very very different and we are very different. The contrast between Dog Ford and the Conservatives right now is huge and clear," says Wynne.

She goes on to say her party will continue to build on the foundation they've laid for the people of Ontario.

"To continue to invest in care for people, whether it's seniors, whether it's young kids, kids who need prescription medications. We're going to continue to build on that care and he's offering to cut."

Wynne adds she'll counter Doug Ford's brand of politics by telling the truth about what his policies will mean for the province.

Francesca Dobbyn was acclaimed as the Liberal candidate in Bruce Grey Owen Sound. She's taking a leave of absence from her job as executive director of the local United Way.
