Stratford 5 Brantford 2

Jack Scanlan and Kaleb Pearson each scored and had an assist as the Stratford Warriors topped Brantford 5-2. The Warriors now lead their Midwestern Conference quarter final 3-0.

The Warriors out shot the 99ers 42-25 in the win.

Pearson was first on the board with a power play goal at 4:05 of the first period. Jack Gaffney answered for the 99ers at 16:54 of the opening frame. Kamerson Shearer used the man advantage to put the Warriors up 2-1 heading into the second.

Graham Brulotte was the lone scorer in the second period, beating the 99ers Mat Woroniuk at 13:04 of the middle frame.

Brantford's Jordan Stock put the 99ers to within a point of Stratford midway through the third but a pair of empty net goals by Scanlan and Brent West would seal the deal.
