Justin Bieber Museum Exhibit Opens Sunday In Stratford

**UPDATED**

The Stratford-Perth Museum had it's busiest day ever on Sunday as the new "Steps to Stardom" exhibit opened to the public for the first time.

A line of approximately 100 people had formed an hour before the scheduled opening time that represented the end to trips that had taken all night, and in some cases, longer then that.

A group of four young ladies that met on Twitter were at the head of the line, arriving at the museum just before 5:00am. Two of the girls came from the United States and met the other two, who came from Montreal. After purchasing some items from the museum's gift shop, the girls quickly began taking pictures with a picture of Justin Bieber busking below a remake of the marquee for Stratford's Avon Theatre. Bieber busked on the steps of the theatre "Over 200 times" according to museum General Manager John Kastner.

Inside the exhibit opens up to a hallway that was soon packed with selfie-takers, who used every piece as an opportunity to take a new picture of themselves of their friends.

Maggie from Brantford had a tough time putting into words her feelings about the exhibit, becoming emotional as she described "a personal look into Justin's life that I wasn't expecting". Much of the exhibit is made up of pieces from Justin's childhood. The group from Brantford admitted the exhibit made them more proud of Justin, knowing he grew up much in the same way they did.

An autograph wall near the end of the exhibit was a popular spot for all attending, with everyone taking a chance to leave messages of love for Justin, and thanks to the museum for hosting the pieces.

The tour concludes with a short documentary, showing home video from Justin's childhood and how he took his first steps into music. Many fans became emotional as views into Justin's past were shown, blended with concert footage and an inteview with Justin's grandparents.

Members of Justin's family were invited to a private viewing of the exhibit on Saturday night, which was described as "a very emotional event for all. Many tears on the part of Justin's grandparents, who provided a large part of the items to the museum to be viewed by the public."

There are 60 items on display, which will remain at the museum until at least the end of 2018.
