OHL Wrap: The Attack Lose One of Several Close Games

Sudbury 2 Owen Sound 1

Jake McGrath made 33 saves to frustrate the Owen Sound Attack as Sudbury edged Owen Sound 2-1.

Kevin Hancock was the lone scorer for the Attack. He was assisted by Nick Suzuki and Alan Lyszczarczyk late in the second.

Darion Pilon and Drake Pilon assisted on each other's goals to give the Wolves the win.

Mack Guzda suffered the loss for the Attack, making 25 saves.

London 2 Kitchener 1

Jordan Kooy made 38 saves to give London a 2-1 win over Kitchener.

Rookies Lucas Rowe and Connor McMichael scored for the Knights. McMichael's goal at 16:29 of the second would stand as the game winner.

Riley Damiani was the lone scorer for the Rangers.

Luke Richardson put up a valiant effort in net for the Rangers, making 28 saves.

Guelph 5 Ottawa 4

Cam Hillis scored the game winner 3:27 into overtime to give Guelph a 5-4 victory over Ottawa. It was Hillis' second goal of the game.

The Storm's Ryan Merkely sent the game into overtime, scoring the equalizer with less than two minutes left in regulation.

Other scorers for Guelph: Owen Lalone and Zach Poirier.

The 67's got goals from Tye Felhaber, Travis Barron, Sasha Chmelevski and Sam Bitten.

Anthony Popovich stopped 30 shots for the win. Cedrick Andree stopped 36 shots in taking the loss for Ottawa.
