GOJHL Wrap: Cyclones win in Overtime

Listowel 4 Waterloo 3 (OT)

Jakob Lee struck twice including the game winner in overtime to give the Listowel Cyclones a 4-3 win over Waterloo.

Both of Lee's goals were on the power play. The Cyclones had plenty of chances with the man advantage, going 3-10. Waterloo was 1-6 on the power play.

The Cyclones were down 3-0 in the second period when Caleb Warren scored the team's first power play goal just before the midway point. Lee scored to narrow the gap and Ben Van Ooteghem scored early in the third to tie the game.

Max Wright stopped 42 shots for the win. Kailem Chappelle took the loss for the Siskins, making 26 saves.

Kitchener 4 Brampton 1

The Kitchener Dutchmen out shot Brampton 32-17 en route to a 4-1 win.

The Dutchmen were 2-5 on the power play. Chris Taylor, Adam Pys, Sean Kawalec and Ben Morris all scored for Kitchener.

Patrick Del Vecchio had the Bombers' lone goal.

Matthew Chan earned the win in net for the Dutchmen.

Elmira 4 Brantford 3

Zack Cameron scored twice including the game winner at 3:15 of the second overtime as the Elmira Sugar Kings held of the Brantford 99ers 4-3.

Braydon Munn scored on the power play with less than two minutes left in regulation to put the Sugar Kings up 3-2 but the 99ers pulled their goalie for an extra attacker and Jack Gaffney scored with only 34 seconds left on the clock to force extra time.

Ryan Takamatsu also scored for the Sugar Kings. Ethan Skinner and Ethan Wiseman each set up three of the Sugar Kings goals.

Spencer Cornelli was in on Cameron's overtime goal.
