A dozen Bruce County staff members have been recognized for making their workplace better.
It's part of the County’s new 'Employee Recognition Program'.
County Council honoured the following employees:
- Jaron Kerr, Lead Network and Infrastructure Analyst - IT Services for dedication to ensuring corporate IT server and hardware upgrades were seamless
- Nancy Kuhl, Library Branch Coordinator received two awards, for contribution to the progressive development of the Library program, and for leadership of the Bruce 150th Committee
- Chris Irvine, Museum Graphic/Exhibit Designer for longstanding exceptional graphic design work, supporting the corporation
- John VanDelden, Health and Safety Manager for commitment to modernization of the Health & Safety services, and for implementing the new Lock Out Tag Out Program across the organization
- Nancy Reinhart, Income and Employment Supports Manager for efforts to streamline Income Support Work program and, for positively influencing the county’s Pay Equity Committee
- Mike Berberich, Environmental Services Manager for provision of high-quality oversight for the 2017 Administration Centre renovations
- Bruce County’s 150th Committee members Nancy Kuhl, Jessie Fullerton, Andrew Beumer, Kevin Predon, Rachel Hepburn, Paul McGrath, Patricia Farris, and Brenda Cziraki for delivering a year’s worth of events celebrating Bruce 150th anniversary.
Bruce County’s CAO Kelley Coulter explains that "employee recognition is our way of showcasing members of our staff for their outstanding efforts. It is an opportunity for the organization to demonstrate that staff are valued and that their work is appreciated."
