A police interaction in Huron Township has resulted in an SIU investigation.
South Bruce OPP received a request Wednesday afternoon to check on the well-being of a man at a residence in Huron Township.
Officers encountered a combative man who was taken into custody. The male later reported some pain and was taken to a local hospital for medical assessment. A responding officer was also treated for minor injuries.
The OPP notified the province's Special Investigations Unit, which has invoked its mandate. As a result the OPP will not provide any further information.
