OHL Wrap-up: Liška and Carter Lead Rangers to Victory

Kitchener 10 Guelph 3

Cole Carter had a hat trick and Adam Liška scored and set up three more in the Kitchener Rangers 10-3 drubbing of Guelph.

The Rangers chased Storm goal tender Anthony Popovich from net midway through the second. Popovich allowed six goals on 25 shots. Nico Daws allowed four goals on 15 shots in relief.

Liška's goal at 3:46 of the second would stand as the game winner for Kitchener. Riley Damiani scored just past the midway point to add insurance. Each of Carter's goals were set up by Liška.

With the win the Rangers move farther ahead of the second place Storm in the Midwest Division with 42 points. Guelph has 35.

London 6 Erie 2

Max Jones struck twice and set up two more in the London Knights 6-2 win over Erie.

Cliff Pu scored and had two helpers for London. Robert Thomas had a goal and an assist in the win. Andrew Perrott also scored for London.

Joseph Raaymakers made 22 saves for the Knights while Daniel Murphy stopped 17 shots in the loss.
