GOJHL Wrap-up: Dutchmen and Siskins Earn Decisive Wins

Kitchener 4 Elmira 1

Despite 11 power play opportunities, the Dutchmen scored only once with the man advantage in their 4-1 win over Elmira.

The Dutchmen got goals from Ben Morris, Kole Scott, Sean Kawalec and Jordan White.

Jeremey Goodwin was the lone scorer for the Sugar Kings. His goal game late in the second on the power play.

Lucas Pfeil made 25 saves for the Dutchmen. Rhett Kimmel took the loss for the Sugar Kings, allowing all four goals on 24 shots.

Waterloo 8 Brampton 2

Waterloo led 7-1 after the second period and went on to beat Brampton 8-2.

Daniel Tsiampas set up three of the Siskins' goals. Sam Spaedt scored and had two assists and Winston Cestnick had a pair of goals for Waterloo.

Kailem Chappelle made 38 saves to earn the win.

The Siskins chased the Bombers Travis Smith from net in the second after he allowed five goals on 17 shots. Joshua Eisfeld stopped 24 of the 27 shots he faced in relief.
