Meditative Trail For Huron Residential Hospice

Huron County's Residential Hospice now has a meditative trail.

Volunteer Dave Gillians says when they looked at the property on highway 8, they saw the potential for the five acres behind the building, and one of the things they considered was a meditative trail for family members to use.

Gord Lobb, the owner of the Woodlands Links Golf Course across the highway helped to cut the trail with a heavy duty lawn mower.

Gillians says the trail provides a quiet place for family members to get some fresh air and collect their thoughts during a difficult time.    They are still looking at more options for landscaping for next spring.

Gillians describes the process, "Here comes Gord on his industrial lawn mower coming up our long driveway.   In order to get the design that we wanted we were racing ahead of him as he was doing a couple of rough outlines of what we wanna do."
