GOJHL Wrap: Cyclones Rally to beat Bombers, Brulotte Gives Warriors the Win

Listowel 7 Brampton 6

The Listowel Cyclones recovered from a three goal deficit and held off a late surge by the Bombers to beat Brampton 7-6.

The Cyclones pulled Evan Reinhart at the end of the first after he allowed all three Bomber's goals on 14 shots.

After being kept off the score sheet in the first and trailing by three, the Cyclones' Caleb Warren and Ben VanOoteghem put the Cyclones on the board in the second.

Chayse Herrfort, Jakob Lee and Blake Nichol scored in the first half of the thrid period to make it 5-3. Brampton managed to beat Max Wright just past the midway point, the first goal Wright had allowed since relieving Reinhart.

Max Coyle scored on the power play to keep the Cyclones in the lead. Brampton tied the game with a pair of goals less than a minute apart with less than five minutes on the clock. Caleb Warren scored the game winner at 18:46 of the third.

Waterloo 5 Brantford 1

Matthew Prucha scored and set up two more in the Waterloo Siskins 5-1 win over Brantford.

Other scorers for Waterloo: Alex Lycett, peter Cascagnette, and Winston Cestnick. Christian Polillo was the lone scorer for the 99ers.

The Siskins were 2-8 on the power play.

Stratford 3 Elmira 2

Graham Brulotte struck twice in the Stratford Warriors 3-2 win over Elmira. Kaleb Pearson's goal just 21 seconds into the third would stand as the game winner.

Zack Cameron and Mason McMahon scored for the Sugar Kings.

Ruan Badenhorst stopped 36 shots in the win. Rhett Kimmel made 28 saves on 31 shots for the Sugar Kings.

Kitchener 4 Guelph 1

Kitchener jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first and went on to beat Guelph 4-1.

Sam Shaw had a goal and an assist for the Dutchmen. Liam Hurley set up two of the Dutchmen's goals.

Keanan Stewart was the lone scorer for the Hurricanes.

Lucas Pfeil earned the win in net for Kitchener with 33 saves.

St. Thomas 6 St. Marys 2

The Lincolns were kept off the scoreboard until the final 34 seconds of the second period as they lost 6-2 to St. Thomas.

The Lincolns were down 6-0 when Daniel Cloutier found the back of the Stars net. Cloutier scored again with less than two minutes left in the game.

Kevin Hu had a pair of power play goals for the Stars and also added twp assists in the win.
