'Don't Leave Buzz Out In The Cold'

Midwestern Ontario's largest food collection project begins today.

Empty CKNX Relief Trucks are positioned at parking lots in Wingham and Exeter. One is one parked at Dean's Valu-Mart in Wingham, and one at Hansen’s Independent Grocer in Exeter.

CKNX AM920 morning host Buzz Reynolds will live in the back of the 53 ft trailers until they are full of donated non-perishable food items.

He'll be broadcasting his morning show from the CKNX Relief Trucks weekdays from 5:30am to 10am, alternating between each location. At night, he'll be sleeping in one of the trucks.

All the non-perishable food and household products, plus cash donations, will be distributed to the ten food banks in Huron County. The goal this year is to fill four trailers between the two locations.

Support has been building over the past two years from school classes, sports teams, youth groups, service clubs, local businesses, larger corporations, and countless individuals.

Two trailers were filled last year from the Wingham location.
