A new scam is making the rounds in Ontario and provincial police are doing everything they can to make the public aware of how to protect themselves.
The Ontario Provincial Police say they're doing everything they can to make residents aware of the new scam, which looks quite realistic, especially if someone is waiting for a package through Canada Post.
Once the links are clicked, people are taken to a website where they're asked to fill out personal information so they can receive their package.
These links also look quite similar to the actual Canada Post website, including colours, banners, and even the type of font used.
Canada Post says they will never contact anyone via email unless that is a pre-arranged method of contact, and said they especially would not send an to report a missing delivery.
