A solar system will be installed on the roof of the Mount Forest Sports Complex.
Wellington North will lease the roof of the Sports Complex to Arntjen Solar, and the solar panels will be installed in 2018.
Under the agreement, Wellington North gets 5% of the profit.
The municipality expects to make about $100,000 over the 20-year term of the contract.
